Napoli beached off Lyme Bay
Left to the mercy of the cruel sea.
Your cargo lost overboard and washed ashore,
People came from near and far
To see what you had in store.
Cargo and containers left scattered far and wide,
Oiled birds found, some of which died.
Cranes and tugs came to your deck and hold for you to clear.
Now you are empty. Soon
you’ll be gone floated away,
Although you will stay in the memory of those in
